You CAN TOO test positive, if you inhaled any of the same air! And since you smelled it, that means you more than likely inhaled some. Marijuana will stay in your sytem anywhere from 3 to 30 days, in standard urine tests. Your hair follicles store it for roughly 3 years. If you did not smoke it, but were at a party where it was, your exposure is minimal. I would advise you to find new friends to hang out with. Although many people think it is cool, I have seen long term effects on some people THAT ARE scary.

No, it takes a lot more than that to test positive. I would smoke 2 bowls with my friend and I didn't score positive when the hospital tested me the very next day. So you can't test positive if you only get contact.
