Karl Marx in The Paris Manuscripts of 1844 said "Religion is the opium of the people". To turn it around, I guess that political practice is the worst drug for religion as it would show people how bogus religion really is.

No drug is worse; they are all equal in God's eyes.
Certains drugs lead to even worse practices though, like lots of sex w/ multiple partners or just plain old not caring, which trickles down to everything.
