You need to use an Ash colour to cut red.

to remove the natural red high lights in your hair you want to look for a hair dye that is closest to your natural color with out the red in it. Anything with ashe in it will tone down the red. You can buy the temporary hair dye it shampoos out in a matter of 30 days, some dyes even less time. I would reccommend going to Salley's Beauty Salon Store to get what you need. The clerks are trained to help you get the right product.

Put a semi permanent ashe color over it. The green in the ashe color will counter the red you have and should help. Good Luck

Walgreen sells this kit that strips any color from your hair, not expensive and works, I had about 3 different colors in my hair when I used it and I went back to my original after using the kit.

hair color is 3 colors blue red and yellow .
ash color is blue. stay away form red / yellows
