According to the Bible, there is a sort of accountability: “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans1:20).

There is also the probability that when the nations scattered across the earth, they took their stories learned from their ancestors with them. When the ancient Chinese people developed written language, they used pictures to represent physical and intangible things. Often, the pictures they used, and still use today, represent ideas from the stories of the Genesis record. I think that's really interesting. There are a few web sites about this, if you are serious in your interest, and here's a simple one for you to check out at the link below.

** I had never heard the refutation given by the answer-er after me (thank you), and so I did some research on this. Not a whole lot else is said about this on either side of this interpretation on the internet. Unfortunately, because of the amount of research on both sides, and the fact that both parties who claim to be experts on ancient Chinese lettering come to different conclusions, and back up their claims by stating that they've presented these views to Chinese speaking and reading people who have accepted them, this appears to be a 'he-said, she-said" argument. AND SO, along with an article by a different author from the one disputed in the article sent by the answer-er after me, (link added below), I also add here a few more references to the idea that the ancient Chinese probably did know of the biblical stories and a creator "Shiang Di":
James Legge, The Chinese Classics (Vol. III), pp. 33–34, The Shoo King: Canon of Shun, Taipei, Southern Materials Centre Inc., 1983;
James Legge, The Notions of the Chinese Concerning God and Spirits, Hong Kong, Hong Kong Register Office, pp. 24–25;
Schuessler, Axel, A Dictionary of Early Zhou Chinese, University of Hawaii Press. Honolulu, pp. 123, 528, 1987;
Lung Ch’uan Kwei T’ai Lang, Shih Chi Hui Chu K’ao Cheng, Taipei, Han Ching Wen Hua Enterprise Co. Ltd., p. 497, 1983

Always good to keep an open mind - just don't let the brains fall out.

Do you seriously think that Heaven is the only "heaven" out there? Do you think that Chirstianity is the only true religion? If yes, then you're an idiot.
The Ancient Chinese people belived in thier version of Heaven, so in a sense, yes, they did go to Heaven, but the the Christian Heaven.

According to the generally accepted view that one has to accept Jesus into his/her heart in order to go to heaven, no. Of course, that doesn't seem quite fair, as many lived and died before Jesus was supposed to have lived, and others just simply never heard of him.

And, to the person above who claims that Chinese characters reflect bible stories, that is patently false and utterly absurd. It does help to know something about the Chinese language before making such wild claims. It is nothing more than finding patterns where none exist, something we humans excel at. See the below essay as a starting point, then go out and learn Chinese. You'll see why it is such an absurd claim.
