Good Q. I guess it depends how far they took it?

4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because[b]to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. -Hebrews 6:4

Somewhere in there we committ the unforgivable sin which is blasphemy against Gods spirit.

What do you mean by "lost their salvation"? How do you judge if a person has lost his salvation, or even had possession of it in the first place?

Jesus says in John 6:44 that "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Since it’s apparent that we cannot get ourselves saved – salvation is something that is given to us from the Lord – it follows that we cannot get ourselves un-saved. God is the one who draws (in the Greek “draws” literally means “to drag”) us to Christ, meaning He initiates the process (we don’t), and Jesus said that He *will* raise the person up on the last day.

2 Cor 1:21-22 says, “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” God is the one who establishes us in Christ, and we are sealed with the Spirit, which is a guarantee of our inheritance in Him (see Eph 1:13-14).

God is God, and as such His power to save mankind will not fail. For just as in Adam *all* died, so in Christ *all* (not merely “some”, as is preached from must pulpits nowadays) will be made alive.

Yes--Repentance

of course! you just have to...
1: We Must HEAR the Word
Without first hearing the word of God we would never know we are sinners and that the "wages of sin" are spiritual death (Rom. 3:23 and Rom. 6:23). Without hearing we wouldn't know of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins and our need for him.
2: We Must BELIEVE What We Hear
Merely hearing the word of God doesn't save. We must believe what we hear or we are not likely to obey the Bible's commands. In John 8:24 Jesus says, "...if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins." But belief is not enough. In Matt 7:21 we learn that just declaring our belief is not enough - we must "do" what God demands.
3: We Must REPENT of Our Sins
Sin is what separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2). Therefore, if we intend to seek God's forgiveness, we must be willing to repent of our sins. Repentence means "turning away from sin" and making the effort to sin no more. If we aren't willing to repent of our sins, we cannot be saved (Acts 3:19; Luke 13:3).
4: We Must CONFESS Our Faith
Those that wish to be saved must confess their faith in Jesus. It was Jesus Christ himself who said, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 10:32; 1 John 4:15).
5: We Must Be BAPTIZED
There is considerable religious confusion about baptism. Some think baptism isn't necessary, others believe we are saved before we are baptized. Note what the Bible says baptism does:
1. Baptism shows a good conscience to God (1 Pet. 3:21)
2. Baptism washes away sins (Acts 22:16; 1 Cor. 6:11)
3. Baptism gives entry "into" Christ (Rom. 6:3; Gal 3:27)
In other words, our sins are not washed away, and we are not "in Christ" until we are baptized. Since baptism is for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38), we are still in our sins (and lost) until we are baptized. We should also realize that baptism is a burial or immersion--not sprinkling (Rom. 6:3-4) and baptism is for believers, not infants (Mark 16:16).
6: We Must Remain FAITHFUL
While baptism puts us into Christ and washes away our sins, we must still be obedient and faithful to God, otherwise, we will lose our souls. The Bible tells us "...be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life" (Rev. 2:10). Some suggest that once we are saved, we cannot be lost. Doesn't that contradict what Hebrews 6:4-6 says?

Yes of course they can, have you not heard about the parable of the prodigal son? Anyone can repent, and turn around, from their bad ciourse any time, and then they can be forgiven, we have that free will to do so!

Hi:

When we place faith in Christ we are given eternal life or everlasting life. If God says it is eternal why should I try to make it temporary?

The new birth places the believer into the family of God warts and all.

Not if you sinned against the Holy Spirit, which is the only sin Christ says is without forgiveness.

I believe in eternal security. Once saved always saved.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
