Make sure they dont drink an hour before bed and that they use the restroom before bed. Also limit the cafeine they drink if any. Check with a doctor if the problem still persists some children just have bladder issues that need medical attention.

I grew up wetting the bed. I was not allowed to drink anything after 6pm. And was not allowed anything with caffeine in it after 5:30 such as chocolate milk. And it worked for the most part. I didn't stop wetting the bed till i was 11 or 12. I had a very small bladder. And was prone to bladder infections. Please seek help from your family doctor. There maybe more going on that your not aware of.

I wet the bed until I was seven and had to have surgery to correct it. It might be a medical problem, or your child might just be a very heavy sleeper. My son used to wet the bed because he just didn't wake up for ANYTHING! (We had a fire in our old 2nd floor apartment and he didn't wake up until he was halfway down the ladder!) If your child is still very young, give it more time. Those muscles don't develop right away.

Talk to your child's doctor. You did not say how old your child is. My son used to wet the bed and have night terrors and trouble breathing through his nose at night. When I took him in for his 4 year old check up, he took an x-ray of his adenoids. They were enlarged. We had them removed soon after. His night terrors and breathing improved immediately and a few months later he stayed dry at night. That was just my experience, but you may have a whole different situation.

How old is your child? Alot just depends on your childs age. If pull ups and rewards aren't working you may want to talk to your pediatrition. your child may just have a small bladder and can't control it very well in a sleepy state. Good luck
