I hate to say it, but he just wants to get into your pants.
A 20-something doesn't have anything in common with a 16 year old. Don't believe me? Wait 2 years and THEN date him.
If, as you say, he was just trying to get you drunk, why would you want to be interested in him?
My advice? Raise the anchor and set sail for the next crush.

Well, since you are so young, no. My parents have a large difference in their ages. For someone under the age of 25, there shouldn't be a larger age difference than about 1 or 2 years at the most.

It ok to like them but you're still a minor so I wouldn't do anything with the guy because of state laws and guys like that are probably wild.
Also, yes it's traditionally the guy that's older in the relationship when a couple gets married or is involved in a relationship (usually, though there are alot of exceptions). It's really just a personal choice, but you do have to comply with state laws.

If you suspect he was trying to get you drunk, then he probably was. If you can't stay away from him, at least make sure you see him in a place where there are other people around, and don't let him fix drinks for you.
It doesn't matter what age someone is or what your age difference; if you feel they are trying to take advantage of you, then you should avoid them entirely or at least limit contact with them until you feel you can trust them.

First of all, if you're under 18 the rules are different. Legally you shoudn't be dating someone that is 20. It could be trouble. After you turn 18, the older you get the less of a big deal it is.

My boyfriend is 9 years older than me and this is the most beautiful and fulfilling relationship I have ever been in. Also girls are usually more mature than guys so it is healthy to have a bit of an age difference.
There are so many different facets to a persons personality, you can't limit it to how old they are. Look far someone who interested in don't look for someone the same as you. Good luck babe!

get out and dont talk to him or think about him. He is to old for you. If he is still in high school then cool try and date him thats ok. but out of high school that is wrong on so many levels. Chances are he will try and get you drunk and rape you or just rape you. So for your safety stay away from the guy.

Depending upon your state, it could be illegal for you to engage in a relationship. That being said, I am 24 and my fiance just turned 30. Once you are of an age of maturity that you can be expected and trusted to make decisions in your best interest, age doesn't matter.
