He greatly CONFUSED them more than anything. Even his own disciples didnt understand his teachings and needed a lot of help to understand.

Your question is far too broad, and vague. You need to understand that much of biblical history took place before Jesus' life. In a literal reading of the Bible, the earth is only 6,000 (give or take a few hundred) years old. Jesus' life was only 2,000 years ago, meaning over 4,000 years of history took place before Christ was alive in His human form.
However, I will attempt to answer your question.
1) Jesus' peaceful ministry was key into gathering a following, which became the early Jewish-Christian communities that modern Christianity is based on.
2) Jesus appeared to Paul the Apostle. Before this, Paul was known as Saul, and Saul hated Christians. He murdered many Christians. However, Jesus appeared to Saul in a vision. Paul asked Jesus "Who art thou, Lord?", and Jesus replied "I am Jesus, whom [He said whom to refer to the plurality of Christian communities] you persecute." From that point, forward, Paul became the greatest missionary the world has ever known. Paul converted many people to Christianity, and this was instrumental in establishing the Church.
The whole point of an essay is that you do the research, not other people.

The Lord Jesus Christ came only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 15: 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He knew that they required a sign before they would believe. So He did sign and wonder to prove that He was their King. John 4: 48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. When they had Him killed on the cross He showed His forgiveness by asking the Father to forgive them. Luke 23: 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. He was God manifest in the flesh and He had to come to earth as a man so He could die for our sins. He was buried and took out sins away and He rose again for our justification. Philippians 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Think of it as time....do you realize that our calendar is broken into
BC = before Christ
AD = after the Death of Christ....
and we've been talking about his LIFE, DEATH AND RESURRECTION FOR over 2,006, over two thousand years....anyone else even comes close to that????
Nah didn't think so.
