How do you warm up sweet and sour chicken and pork??

Question

When I get chinese food, the sweet and sour sauce in the meats is nice and saucy, for lack of a better word. Then you put the leftovers in the fridge and the sauce gels. I can't get the sauce to become saucy again when I try to warm it up. I've tried microwave, I've tried stovetop. I dunno what to do, and I'd really like to have saucy sweet and sour sauce with my leftovers.

Sweet and sour pork is my favorite and i also love the leftovers. what i do is get all of the sauce on the side so when i heat it up the next day i can heat up the pork and then heat up the sauce seperatly. it works out great. hope this helps.

jenn gave you the best answer, when you know you are going to have leftover for tomorrow, you first seperate the meat and the sauce (with or without onions / pineapple) and keep in the fridge.
The next day, you warm it up seperately, add some water to the sause (or you can open a can of pineapple and add the pineapple and juice into the sause), stir till hot and thicken then put the re-heated meat in the sauce.

The sauce has turned to gel,because it has mixed with the cold meat,which has oil in it. Try adding a few drops of warm water to it,stir,then microwave.

Ask for extra sauce, or get the sauce on the side. The meat soaks up some of the sauce.

In the sauce pan did you add some water? The cornstarch needs to be diluted again
