well you are obviously a kleptomaniac, thats a fact. Whats also a fact is that you recognize it is wrong and are asking how to stop.

The strange thing is the fact your klepto rush is fixed on your mother. Find the best way to tell her first off. You are going to lose a lot of trust for a long time and you may even have to pay her back over time.

But the good part is after she knows you will feel better and probably will stop stealing (from her at least). Afterwards you NEED to seek proffesional help. If left untreated, you could get into serious trouble one day. And I mean serious, felonies, prison time, probation, paying people back, community service.

Do something for yourself and get help.

Tell your mother, you need help. To steal compulsively is a disorder, and there is professional help out there that works. Write a letter to your mother telling her you love her and you need help. Just like you did here. She may be a little upset, but you really deserve to get help before you get yourself into trouble.

Good luck, and God Bless you.

get help, stealing is bad. maybe your mom doesn't even know you took the money and stuff. i tried to take my own twenty from my mom once (yes my own twenty) and i was literally grounded for a year.
