Instead of e-mailing him. If you have his address send him a letter and tell him how you feel or if you have his phone number call and talk to him and see what is response is. Then go from there.

Emmy-
It is an unfortunate fact that too many people become parents before they have truly grown up themselves. Many people are sexually active and selfishly choose not to be responsible and use birth control. And too often they do not own up to the responsibilities that result from those choices.
The saddest thing of all is that it is the child that suffers. You are innocent, you did not get to pick your parents. The fact that he is not in your life is NOT because of you or anything you did. It is because he is a selfish coward.
You can write and call your father to express your feelings to him, but you may not like the response you get, if any. You have to be prepared for the chance that he may still not be ready to be a father. If that is the case, you may actually be better off that he stays away.
You are a young woman who has had a lot to deal with at such a young age. You are not alone, and you have nothing to be ashamed of. He is the one who should be ashamed. Please talk to your mother and a counselor, at school or privately, about all the things you are dealing with. You are entering a difficult time in life and it is important for you to do all you can to prevent these painful situations from hurting your self-esteem.

Email him again, with the subject: "I am your daughter, I at least deserve a reply." if that doesn't work, write again with the subject "please write back to me" and if that doesn't work have the subject saying "WRITE BACK!!!!!" in all capital letters. and if all of those attempts fail, talk to your parent/guardian about it, they can probably find a way for you to get in touch. Good luck!!!
