When you turn back to God that's like rejoining the Army and the Devil wants you to go back to being a deserter. Plus, God wants to test you to make sure you are really committed to Him. You just have to remember that God uses trials to build your faith. He gives you tests so that you can have a test-imony to share with others. And, no, you're not a bad Christian. That's why Peter wrote these verses to Christians long ago who went through similar trials and had similar thoughts.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.......Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:6-10

Henry I believe in God because God teachings never change and have never been dis proven. 4 instance 4 all we know about the universe no one has an adequate explanation how water came onto earth. If it came from comets the earth would be huge! But its not. No agreed upon explanation exist 4 this very obvious substance. When I want to school they taught ppl that life had started in a tide pool. Now thats no longer believed to be true. I know sci changes. But the truth of history never changes. U basically R asking why dont we live in a perfect world if God can create perfection. Here is my ans to U: if U had a doll that every time U pulled a string it said I luv U how long would that amuse U? If that same doll said I luv U sometimes, other times it said I hate U or challenge me, or just showed U it had free will so that U knew when it said I luv U it was coming from the doll, and not from a spell U put on it to just say 1 and only 1 thing. So if U were a creator which one world would U choose to create, a perfect plastic world or 1 of challenges and uncertainty?

Absolutely!
When you move closer to God, the devil attacks more.
But we have to keep this in perspective. The devil can do nothing that God does not permit. God has the devil on a leash, so to speak.
Why God allows this is to exercise us in virtue.
When we encounter difficulties and sufferings, and do the right thing that is pleasing to God nevertheless, we grow in virtue and grace.
But be prepared for God to allow to to come right to the edge and then pull you back just in time.
The greatest work of God is done in your soul when the line is the finest.
But don't fear, just persevere.
And always keep praying in a difficulty, even if you cannot do anything else. If you cannot use one form of prayer, use another form. Pray in the way that you can at the moment.
The secret to perseverance is to never give up prayer.
And don't judge prayer by your feelings. God is pleased when you show the will to do the right thing, no matter how you feel.

This happens to Muslims, also. Basically, Satan does not spend time in the bars or bad places because those people are lost. He stays very close to the Path of God to pull people off of it. Satan is the avowed enemy of humanity. He will use any vessel as a weapon, even family, to make you stray from the right path. May God give you faith, strength and perseverance.

The devil through things will make you want to give up while you move closer to God, because there are so many satans in this world..Satans or devils get married and have many children and they are all alive and never die before resurrection day. They ask
Allah for having a long life and vowed to Allah that during their
lives they will always try to tempt human beings. for doing bad things.Allah has agreed satan's proposal.Allah uses satans for testing humans who will be a good person by obeying Allah's instructions and Allah's prohibitions and who will be a bad person by disobeying Allah's rules and regulations..Allah gives a free choice..Allah tested humans by giving them what are favourable and unfavourable condition for them. such as wealthy, good position, healthy, misery, poor, sickness etc.The good person with a strong faith and right path will go to heaven and the bad one with weak faith and wrong path will go to hell.Someone who has a strong faith to Allah can not be easily tempted by satans..To be a strong faith which will be closer to Allah, there are many satans temptations

Hi:
First remember that God's love for you and me does not depend upon how good or how bad I feel that I am. God's love is unconditional.
It us useful to know that as a Christian we have a 3 fold enemy: the world, the flesh and the devil. The world system tries to distract us and draw us away from a walk of faith in Christ. The flesh refers to the fleshly desires which we have inside which would try to defile our minds and make us think that we are failures as a christian. The devil is very much alive and makes it his business to try and destroy the testimony of Christ as seen in his people.
The Bible tells us "we are more than conquerers in him who loved us..." and that his Holy Spirit gives the Christian victory over his enemies. Our worth is based on who we are in Christ, we are placed in the family of God as children, eternally his.

This is actually more common than you think and happens to everyone in every religion, so don't give up. Realistically it probably has something to do with your changed perspective on life and being hypersensitive to the things that go wrong. I like to see it as a challenge or a test that once you get through, proves your faith. Hang in there :D
