You probably mean the US and Iraq. But since your question was lacking in specificity I'll go with.... let Iran and North Korea shoulder the economic (and perhaps other) damage which will no doubt be leashed upon them.

If I understan this correctly; you probably mean us and Iraq. right? We HAVE been "shouldering" the damage, by building new schools, businesses, helping children in schools, and many other things. We're not just going to go in there and leave without helping them.
