I don't think there are others in the Sierra's. The McCloud River Railway runs dinner trains from McCloud, Ca., but they no longer operate with steam.

The Yreka Western Railroad runs steam excursions from Yreka, Ca. to Montague, Ca., but their season is ending this weekend, if I'm not mistaken.

Still not the Sierra's, but the skunk line operates between Fort Bragg, Ca., and Willets, Ca. I believe their steam runs have closed for the winter as well.

Roaring Camp and Big Trees RR can be boarded in Felton, near Santa Cruz, Ca., but I don't know anything of their operating schedules.

I'm not sure about the San Joaquin route but I don't think AMTRAK runs any other than commuter trains out of Stockton, over the Altamont Pass to the East Bay.

I don't know about the historic trains in the areas you mentioned, this time of the year. But there's usually one to Roaring Camp from Santa Cruz and from Roaring Camp to Santa Cruz. It's slow, but informing and ejoyable.
