"Its not meant to be offensive at all- at least, not coming from me. But I'm praying for you, and I hope you come to realize God's love for you. :) " - savmcardle - you say that you don't force it down people's throats like others do, but the last part of your answer is contradictory to that. 'I hope you come to realize God's love for you', why? Like the questioner said, if we wish to know, we will come to you, or to church. No matter how nicely you say it, we simply don't want to hear it! I don't go around being overly polite and telling people that the Goddess has blessed them, it simply wouldn't be right! My beliefs are my own, as are yours your own. Lets just leave it at that! I don't want to have people praying for me to save my soul from 'Hell'! My soul is more than safe and taken care of. I can't stop people from 'praying' for me, but I wont ask for it, or expect it. I am more than happy with my path, as I am sure you are.
Midge - So, by spreading the word of God, you are trying to lessen your own guilt? That's rather selfish of you, don't you think? Do you not care about others? Do you only care about what happens to you? Just because not everyone believes what I do, I don't feel the need to preach to them, or tell them that they will not be reincarnated, or that something bad will happen to them, because nothing bad will happen to them! They are humans, plain and simple!

We are obligated to make sure they have heard the Gospel or at least have had the chance to hear the Gospel because if they go to Hell merely because we did not share the good news then we have a share in their guilt. Once we have presented the Gospel or attempted to our obligation is over although many Christians continue to pray for the people who do not know or love Jesus. I for one kind of think they know exactly what they are doing and do not get too heart broken over their refusal.

I personally don't think anyone who practices paganism etc. is a bad person- I have pagan friends, actually, who are some of the kindest people I know. I pray for them and they pray for me, and niether is uncomfortable about that fact. I've witnessed to them about how God has helped me, but I don't pressure them and preach to them all of the time.
I believe everyone should be entitled to practice whatever religion they want. Its just part of our Christian religious journey to spread the word of God and try to lead others to accept Him, so thats the 'why'. I know some people are forceful and annoying about it, but the truth is that no one is going to convert to Christianity unless he or she *wants* to... so all we can do is make the suggestion, and then see what happens. Its not meant to be offensive at all- at least, not coming from me. But I'm praying for you, and I hope you come to realize God's love for you. :)

You are closer to Christianity as you think; paganism is the foundation of Christianity.
Jesus came to save the pagans. May the good lord bless you my dear.

Hi:
As a Christian I have a responsibility to bring the good news of the gospel to others and to warn them to flee from the wrath to come.

with the intention to delight God, we'd desire to do the flaws that are attractive to him. At Proverbs 27:11, it tells us, " Be sensible, my son, and make my heart rejoice, so as that i will make a respond to him it rather is taunting me." the single that is taunting Jehovah God is devil the devil and people who carry out his needs in this methodology of issues. additionally, at Hebrews 13:sixteen, it reads, "in addition to do not forget approximately the doing of sturdy and the sharing of issues with others for with such sacrifices God is nicely delighted." as quickly as we take part in assisting others and doing what's physically powerful in God's eyes, He smiles upon us.

Well, don't be to hard on them sweetie. They just don't want to see you burn in hell. You are fortunate that someone cares about your soul.
