Yes, WASTE OF POINTS -- CALL YOUR VET!

You need to call your vet immediately... ! Meanwhile, what you can do is the following:

1. Take two pieces of white bread
2. Put a layer of cotton wool and the thickiest possible slab of butter between them
3. Try and get your dog to eat the butter/cotton sandwhich

What this will do is that while the cotton wool prevents the pins from poking holes in the poor thing's stomach/intestines by possibly covering the sharp pinpoint, the thick butter slab will provide lubrication in his stomach & intestine to help the pins slip thu, if it does pass thru the stomach (it will also help the dog to swallow the cotton wool with the bread).

Really hope your dog recovers from this ! (And next time, keep those pins out of reach !)

This could easily be considered an emergency. Get her to an animal emergency clinic now. It the pins pass out of her stomach they will pierce her intestine and she will be in danger of sepis, an overwheling infection, and death. They may be able to be retrieved without as much damage if you don't wait for them to pass out of the stomach(2-4 hours after swallowing). Get off the computer and get on the road with her. Best wishes and I hope she makes out okay.

GET HER TO A VET ASAP! No time to wait the pins can puncture her stomach; lungs, intestines, you get the drift; call the vet immediately!

call the vet immediately!!! if your vet is closed, go to an emergency vet. this is very serious as your dog could suffer internal bleeding. try feeding it some bread in the meantime.

good luck and call the vet now!!!

I agree with the sandwich idea above, or simply a vaseline sandwich (which is what my vet recommends). Then rush to the vet.
