Dia de los Muertos means "Day of the Dead". It's much similar to our Halloween and All Souls' Day. It's a time for mourning, a time to commemorate our loved ones who have passed away.
But it's celebrated mainly in Latino countries! Hope it meant well.
Gracias y buenos dias!

Are you asking what it means literally or are you wanting to know about "The Day of the Dead?" It is a day in Mexico when we honor our loved ones who have died by taking food and small gifts to the graveside to show honor, respect, and love for the deceased. Some of the answerers are confusing the Catholic "All Saints Day," with "Dia de Los Muertos" which is celebrated only in Mexico.
