He's either mad about something and doesn't know how to tell you. Or, he's just cold hearted and doesn't care about your feelings. Ask him and see his response. If he apologizes and says he didn't mean anything by it. Then accept his apology. If he does it again, then drop him, 1- for being cold hearted and 2- for being a liar. If he says he is mad, then tell him you would rather discuss the problem rather then have him hint around about it so you can get what ever is bothering him resolved once and for all.

he may only be joking or he may also be trying to tell u something without hurting your feelings. My advice is that you should have a talk with him about it. Let him know it hurts your feelings. If he persist on still doing it then he must not really care about you. He may also be trying to give u a reason to break-up with him so that he doesnt have to do it and hurt your feelings. If he makes u cry hes not worth being with. You should let him go.
