I think that for 5' 7" a "hot" size would be....105 pounds. Just look at all the hot women models and in Hollywood...don't they look healthy and hot? Pencil-thin arms are a real turn on for most guys, especially when they are so thin people nickname you Olive Oil.

No such thing as a "hot" size for someone 5'7". There are too many variables.

It is not about the number on the scale or your age or height. It is about proportion. The sooner women start to believe this, the happier we will all be. If your hips and bust are close to the same size and you have a distinguishable waistline, you are proportionate. Then you can work on toning and strengthening. If you carry all your extra weight in one area, it will be harder to maintain proportion, but again, it's not about the numbers. If we continue the same eating and exercise habits from year to year, at about age 35 we will start to see a gradual (and completely normal as our metabolism slows down) gain of about one to two pounds per year. That means we have to work out more and eat less every year to maintain the same weight. But if you're only talking a few pounds, maybe just think about toning your body...give yourself a break because it can be an all-consuming issue if you let it take over your life.

It is a constant struggle, or nearly impossible, to get back to a long-ago weight. Sometimes women are looking to get back to a size when they were in high school, before they had the baby, when they were wearing mini-skirts, etc, but this is often unreasonable and sets up a vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting.

Consult your doctor about your overall health. If you are generally healthy, just eat sensibly, exercise as much as you feel comfortable with and, please, forget about those numbers.

People never, ever believe how much I weigh (they always guess 20-30 pounds lighter) because I am tall, I carry my weight well (it is evently distributed) and I am reasonably fit.

It really depends on your build but if you feel good where you are 160 is fine. I am also 5'7" and I looked fantastic at 160 and was very healthy. I will be back there in the new year! I am trying for 149, just because I want to say that I am under 150!

Good luck and congrats! :)

Congrats on the weight loss.
Forget about "Diets" and get exercise.
Unfortunatly "curvy" etc.... is often a short stop on the way to getting really big.
Try jogging or running 2 miles a day, 6 days per week.
Get a great pair of running sneakers.
Get clothes that keep you cool while working out.
Good Luck.

I think that 135 might be good, but you will probably find that difficult. If you can flatten out that belly, any weight that you wind up being at would probably be just fine.

Check out your BMI. If possible, try finding those BMI range charts. I think "hot" for girls of any height is a BMI of 18 or 19. 20 if you are big-boned.

I'm 5'7and a half and weigh 113. There is no "HOT" size. You should be comfortable no matter what size you are.
