Is it fair that I've already seen your next question? You're not going to report me for this are you?

Absolutely not. A persons belief system is his or her own. I think the major problem is that some of the participants in this arena are so dead set in their belief system that they refuse to give any consideration to other trains of thought. I am a Christian, I try not to insult, but sometimes, I allow myself to be drawn into a situation in which I act in a way I don't normally act.

No! That would not be fair because then you are expecting them to live up to your standards or beliefs...That's not right! Everyone should have the right to choose what they believe in and at the same time respect others beliefs as well.

It's not okay to insult the person, but I won't claim to have tolerance for religious beliefs.

It is never to insult someone based on race, religous belief, or gender. My mother always said to follow the golden rule do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you get angry when someone makes fun of your religion or something you believe in then you should not do it to someone else.

No, it is never right to insult someone else--regardless their religious beliefs. Treat them as you would want them to treat you--unless you're a sadist and enjoy pain.

it depends on how you insulted them. i would suggest not insulting their religious beliefs if they're the same as yours. then you would be a hypcrite.

You know... it's really not ok. Have I done it... I certainly have. This would be one of the benefits of this forum. While I started out trying to "zing" anyone who disagreed with me, I now look for more meaningful excahnges to an ultimately unsolvable issue. Please continue to ask, and just ignore the ones who try to "zing" you... (like me).
