No you do not have to worry about spinach in your soup, or even spinach in any other process food. As long as the spinach is cooked, the E.coli and any other bacteria on the spinach will be killed also.

just read tonight that when cooking it you wash it well and its fine so go ahead and enjoy.
If eaten raw it said to wash it in vinegar water a couple teaspoons to the water then rinse well to remove the vinegar.
