Unfortunately you wasted your money. My family has been cooking crispy bacon in the microwave for years without a special plate.
You just take a regular microwave safe plate cover it with one or two sheets of paper towels, lay the bacon strips on it in a single layer and cover with another paper towel. Microwave on high for 1.5 to 2 minutes and remove from the microwave.
Press the top layer of paper towel gently against the bacon to absorb any excess grease and serve.

for five minutes but its gross you would be better off cooking it in the oven 400 degrees for about 10-15 min it will crisp up well and all you do is lay out the bacon on a cookie sheet and let it go in the microwave it is soggy and doesnt get that brown color its pretty nasty

drape bacon over pint jar set on glass pie plate. cook on high for 1 minute at a time. this is for regular bacon. quick already cooked bacon that only needs to be heated: lay between paper towel sheets and heat 30 seconds at a time on high. when it is hot, remove.
