Earth is a place where we either prepare ourselves for a glorious reunion with our creator or reject Him and make our way to spend eternaty away from His wonderful presance.

Interesting. You could argue that this reality is already a stage of the afterlife and depending on how we do here is if we move up a level towards redemption or down a level towards damnation. Also, good arguement for why everyone faces temptation,pain, and suffering...it's a further test.

Im not sure what you mean, but if you mean "is hell apart of earth", then I would have to say No, hell is just metaphor used to descripe a place where bad people will go once they die.
