Yes. He is refered to as "Iblis", equivalent to Lucifer. The term "satan" actually comes from the arabic "shaitan".

positive is totally right. Satan (or Shaytaan in Arabic) is the devil. Before the creation of mankind, God created another intelligent race with freewill called Jinn. Iblis was from the Jinn and of very high rank. He was a teacher of the Angels. He worshiped God very much and it is said there is not a place in the universe or creation where Iblis did not stand to worship Allah. But when God created Adam and asked the Angels to prostrate to Adam out of respect for the knowledge God had bestowed upon him, Iblis refused. When God asked him Why? Iblis said Because I am better than him. I am made of fire and he is made of mud. Then God told him to go down from here and be among the accursed Shaytaan. Shaytaan asked for a reprieve until the Day of Resurrection. God granted him the reprieve. Then Shaytaan said I will call all of mankind into the hellfire and all will obey me, except those who have become your friend. To this God said I will fill hell with you and anyone who follows you.
Basically, Shaytaan has the power to whisper evil thoughts into people. He can not make them do anything. He acts like man's friend but he is the sworn enemy.

Hell Yeah! Satan was the fallen (or exiled) angel from heaven, who was a former leader of all angels named "Iblis" in the Qur'an. He is an evil Jinn who did not bow down to Adam when GOD asked all angles to hail Adam (humans) as GOD's ultimate creation. Because, Iblis didn't want humans to be greater than him he sworn that he will do all he can to make humans astray from GOD's path and commit sins. He asked GOD for such power that allowed him to manipulate human mind to do evil, and GOD granted him so. But GOD warned Satan that, until the final day, he can try all he can to make humans do evil, but GOD told him there will always be humans who will not astray from the right path and hail GOD almighty. Because of that, GOD created conscions within all of us, so that we will be able to judge between right and wrong.

FYI: "pangel" is totally incorrect. "Jinn" are not demons in Islam and the Quran is very clear on the distinction. Islam has the following beings in its religion: Demons, Angels, Genies (Jinn), Prophets, and God's or God.
I say "God's" because most Muslims believe the Quran, itself, is not created, and most people would categorize anything "uncreated" or infinite as a God or Demi-God.

YOUR QUESTION- Is there a Satan in the Koran and what is his name?
ANSWER- Straight from the Quran-----English translation.
"Call to mind, when We commanded the angels: Submit to Adam, they all submitted, but Iblis did not; he refused and was arrogant, being already one of the disbelievers."
- Chapter 2, Verse 35
"Allah questioned him: What prevented thee from submitting when I commanded thee? He retorted: I am better than he. Thou hast created me of fire while him hast Thou created of clay. Allah said: In that case, depart hence. It behoves thee not to be arrogant here. Get out, thou art surely of those abased. Iblis pleaded: Grant me respite till the day when they shall be raised up. Allah said: Thou art given respite. Iblis said: Since Thou hast brought about my ruin, I will assuredly lie in wait for them on Thy straight path and will approach them fore and aft, and from right and left, and Thou wilt not find most of them grateful. Allah said: Get out hence, despised and banished. Whoso of them shall follow thee should know that I will surely fill hell with you all."
- Chapter 7, Verse 13-19

Atheist Eye Candy,
They have erected pillars in Mecca that they throw stones at as a ritual. Those pillars are supposed to represent Satan. I forget how many stones that they are supposed to throw, 27 of something like that. As if those stones are supposed to represent their defiance to Satan.
