Life is amazingly complex and organised - It clearly couldn't just exist fully formed, for no reason, with no history, no origin, no precursor of any sort. That would be absurd. Logically then, it's even more absurd to suggest that life was designed and created by an intelligent entity that *does* exist fully formed, for no reason, with no history, no origin, no precursor of any sort. Thus the existence of life is one of the surest signs that a creator god is a logical absurdity, and cannot possibly exist. How can anyone believe otherwise?

I know what you believe, but, tell me, what is consciousness? If in the final analysis, life is purely materialistic and can be described by cause and effect, then, how can an idea exist? An original idea would have to be caused, but by what? Or are you saying my ideas are random? LOL. What about love, art, emotion?

Think of this:

“The test of first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald

Just like a real coin, life is material and spiritual. You now can only see the material side, for that is all you look at, like looking at one side of a coin. Thus, you cannot ever see the spiritual side, for you ignore it. However, many people see both sides of the coin.

Even though you are a firm materialist, if you really investigate the basis of materialism, you will find that you have taken a lot on faith.

So here is an answer. Why did the universe come into existence, suddenly, from nothing? Was it uncaused? It could not cycle infinitely, for if so all energy would be dissipated, long ago. So, the big bang just happened, and happened once.

In summary, you must believe, nothing caused something. As for me, I believe there is room for a creator, eternal and pure consciousness.

I agree that life could not just "come" into existence fully-formed from nothing.
I also agree that there is no evidence of any kind to suggest or show a "designer" behind life. And although I don't believe in god, I also don't think your logic follows to the conclusion that god is a logical absurdity -- it depends on what you mean by "god" in the first place, and in the second place logic can't answer the question of "is there a god?" It's easy enough to see, with a little study and learning, how all life is related, how all of the various species came to be (including humans), and how evolution tinkers with things to come up with new forms that aren't necessarily all that well designed (our eyes, for example, have a horrible design. The light-sensing cells face *backwards* making them half as sensitive as they could be, our retinas are easily detached thanks to those backwards cells, they get too many diseases like cataracts, RP, etc.).
I do get frustrated when creationists try to "argue" their point using science, but their science is wrong, out of date, etc. A little knowledge would really help them understand, but they refuse to study the subject because they "already know it's wrong." Hmph.

I guess, but you are confusing your arguments.

Life as we know it did not just pop into being. It was a very long, convoluted process.

If you set an infinite number of monkey's typing at an infinite number of typewriters they will write all the great works almost immediatly. Life worked kind of like that but with a finite (but still gigantic) number of monkeys creating a longer amount of time needed for the impossible to become possible.

#1: See link. Do a little research next time. #2: Really? It doesn't? You have a better explanation? #3: You're getting your theories. that abiogenesis you're talking about, not evolution. #4: Your supposed argument used in this question is "thoroughly unrevealing." You have no evidence to back your side of the argument. EPIC FAIL.

My watch was created by evolution.
the face was created by birds 5000 years ago and the wind carried them them to USA.
the wristband evolved from ameobas over millions of years.
the LCD came by the pressures from the bottom of the sea, blown to the surface by the volcano off the Hawaiian coast.
the Integrated chips formed from pengin dung, swept ashore by the Atlantic current and finally managing to cling to a ship travelling the Great Lakes.
All managed to come together three years ago, coming into PERFECT working order, where Sam Walton found it and sold it in his store for $10.
THIS IS A LOGICAL ABSURDITY.
For this body to be created to heal itself from monkeys, from this path of ameoba, is ludicrous.
Only a God with infinite wisdom can create mankind to live on a planet that is built for our lifestyle. To think anything less defies wisdom and intelligence.

Life did exist before. We are all in an antfarm that god bought at a store.

Intelligence and spiritual matter has always existed and is not destroyed. God used certain matter that met the prerequisites for the creations He formed.

Quite right. Evolutionists are quite ridiculous. Theyll believe anything to disbelieve in God!

Actually the Bible doesnt teach where God came from so youre out of luck trying to bark up that tree.

I wasn't formed from nothing and neither were you. Man was formed from the dust of the earth and God Himself breathed the breath of life to his nostrils.
