Even after washing my hair, it feels icky a few hours later. I think it might just be product overload (i use deep conditioners often and serums, and straightening lotions). Is there a special shampoo that clarifies my hair, or any homemade recipes i could use? I heard about vinegar, does that work?

there is this new herbal essance shampoo called drama clean use it. it really works. Also try to stop using so much product on your hair it will end up damaging it. Use this shampoo and conditioner and nothing else.

I'd totally recommend a clarifying shampoo like Suave. It's right around a dollar, too...

Another tip: try to go a day without all the products in your hair, just every once in a while. It gives your hair time to "breathe" (I'm a hair product junkie too, so I know it's hard!).

Be sure to rinse your hair really well. And if you're into leave-in conditioners, that's another possible culprit.

Best of hair luck!

You could try Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo...

use neutrogena, like the normal shampoo that has that slight greenish yellowish colour. it has no odor or colour added, it's basically just like soap for your hair. it doesnt smell good, like not flowery or anything. dont use vinager, it might screw up your hair.

I would advise using neutragena cleanser. It strips your hairof EVERYTHING and leaves a fresh tingling sensation.
