first of all your questions was very hard to read! with the spelling and all..
second, about the rash, let it air out, if anything allow her to go bottomless for a while, hold a towel under her or something. I've found the best stuff is A&D ointment. but her bum has to be dry before putting that on.
as for the cold, you have to take her to the Drs for that.

Well, maybe she's teething. That could (don't ask me why) cause a diaper rash. Or if it's a virus that could be the reason.
My first born had a TERRIBLE diaper rash after surgery on his colon. (At five days old). There is a cream out there that WORKS WONDERS! In just two diaper changes it was SOOOOO much better! It's called DRC (Diaper Rash Cream). I know that sounds stupid or generic, but man, it is GOOD. Expensive, too -- $6 a tube! But I paid it, it was the difference between a sleepless night or not. I got it at Walgreens, Jewel/Osco. ..I think babies r us carries it. If you can't find it, get another cream and put it on THICK. OH, and don't use wipes, they will sting. Soak cotton balls in warm water and pat her bottom. Good luck!!

I'm not sure about how they are connected but i know that cream called butt paste(That is the name) works wonders fast. Every time i use it the rash big or small is gone in less than 24 hours. You will notice a huge difference after one diaper change. This stuff was also voted best rash care.

Probably not connected. But if her diaper rash wont go away then you may need to take her to the doctor so you can get some cream prescribed by the doctor. It may be a fungus or something. My youngest son had a rash that the reg cream wouldnt take care of so I got 2 different creams from the doctor, and it went away quick.

My daughter had a diaper rash that lasted for several months. I used every cream imaginable. Finally the doctor gave me an antibiotic for her ear infection and the diaper rash went away! I think the infection makes the baby's urine stronger and it burns more.

best thing to do is give your doc a call...he/she may have an answer right over the phone....because if she has a cold..she needs the right medication and the diaper rash may be a sign of something else...just call the doc..they know best about her =0) good luck n hope she feels better!!!

oh god, i remember those days. The two are often related, same as teething and bum rash.
I gave my wee one a cool * not cold* bath to relive the burning, then let him wiggle about on a blanket without a nappy *diaper* this helps cool the skin, and prevants the nappies from making it worse. Levae her bear bottomed for as long as you can , as often as possible, and make sure you use a non scented cream, and baby products. If it continues, go to your doc, and see about any mild anithestic type creams for baby rash.
She'll be fine *hugs* good luck.

cornstarch for her rash, it dries it up. i doubt they are connected unless she has an upset stomach to go with it, and then its probably more of a virus....or she may be teething, it causes bad diapers (if she is having those) and cold like symptoms on some children

Babies can get yeast infections that sounds like the beginning of one it's especially easy if she's breastfeed. Use desitin creamy that in my opinion is the best. If it doesn't clear up in a day or two take her to the doctor to get meds to treat her yeast infection
