They recommend that men drink 1-2 glasses of wine or beer a day for your cardiovascular system and heart, but woulden't this had adverse affects on the liver after a while?

Nah. That is what moderation is all about. It's when you fire up 6-8 every day that the liver starts rebelling.

It's only recommended that you drink red wine, not beer. It could have an adverse affect on your liver if you are already suffering from some pre-existing illness or medication that could interact with the alcohol.

That is correct but I read and heard that drinking 1-2 glasses of wine a day helps the heart not beer. If you a lot of any alcoholic beverage it can hurts the liver along with the heart.

In large or small quantity Alchool is bad. If you can do to avoid it , please do it.
