I really do not know the answer to this. They have given their lives away for nothing. It is very dangerous, when a large group of people are completely in the control of a small group of people ANYTHING can happen. I think indoctrination as a child gives most children their christianity which they cling to as part of their cultural safety net. The older `born agains` I would guess, are mostly caught by the churches at a `difficult` time in their lives and then indoctrinated using many different psychological techniques. We have a psychologist or two in our family, one who specialised a while ago on `programming` and it really is not that difficult. I was brought up as a christian and after some study I saw through it, but, how on Earth you can help those trapped in the evil web of religion I really do not know. They are too indoctrinated to understand that it is all `********`. You cannot give knowledge to people if they do not want to learn and christianity turns off the `knowledge` and `learning` switches at source and then removes the fuse. All you get from them is `Bible says, so it must be right` and they will swallow anyones interpretation of those words to explain the `problem` of the day, hook, line and sinker. The danger to human life on our planet that such an extremely well controlled non-thinking group could pose is almost inconceivable.

At present stage of human history, when the continued work of the Godly-guidance stands, already, perfected in terms of the long series of prophets and their Scriptures. And__ the Day of Judgement is also at hand. The masses must review, all and all of that, which is being maintained by them; in the name of faith and belief.
The ignorant must pay heed to the Scriptures and the Message of Monotheism, contained therein. Still there is some time for the Repentive Recourse to reform and recognize the actual purpose of life including the actualisation thereof.
Jesus (PBUH) had given this message in his prayer on the cross (The Psalm 22)
“Praise the Lord, you servants of the Lord
Honour the Lord,
You descendants of Jacob
Worship the Lord, you people of Israel.”
(The Psalm 22:23)
It means that praise is meant for the Lord alone. And___ to honour the Lord means to obey the Lord in terms of the Lord’s Commandments and to worship the Lord means to seek help and refuge from the Lord as the Lord is the Omnipotent-Protector alone. And___ that is the sole purpose of human life.

GOD created us for the simple purpose is do we worship HIM, even though we have not seen HIM. GOD didn't need a creator or anyone. GOD is above anyone and GOD do not have father, mother, brother, sister, Do you think god create another god is a foolish thought and/or whatever so ever people's imagination. GOD is not in need of us nor depend on food and/or etc. to replenish the hunger/wants and whats so ever. We do need GOD for everything. GOD wants to see how many people do really believe in GOD, worship GOD, obey the GOD'S command and do good deeds. Think about it..still unsure, don't stop there. Go look for resource

I thought the answer to this one would be obvious the meaning/purpose of life is for the pursuit of pleasure. Period. Weather you take a Creator into account the answer is still the same. The only thing that changes is what is considered the best source of pleasure for man.

Good question, because if you believe in the Judeo/Christian/Muslim version of God... the logical answer to your question is this:
To do all you can to avoid boredom.
What else can a never born, never dying being do? Think about it, if they're right, he existed a trillion times a trillion years before even an atom... let alone a sentient person to relate to. So what would you do?
You'd create life and then mess with it. You'd subject them to all kinds of great things, then all kinds of fu**ed up stuff... just to see what they'd do. And that's exactly what is being done... if the bible is to be believed.
Personally, I find it much more comforting to think of "God" as something that just popped out life randomly and couldn't care less what we do.

You live for God's glory by fulfilling the purposes he made you for. It's really the only way to live. Paul lived a purpose-driven life. He said,"I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step" 1 Corinthians 9:26 His only purpose for living was to fulfill the purpose God had for him. He said, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" Philippians 1:21
We will praise him for his plan and live for his purposes forever!

God does not "need" an purpose. He does not "need" anything, He is self-sufficient.
The meaning of life for us is to love God supremely and to enjoy Him forever.

God's existance it to be worshiped and govern the world according to his perfect plan. Humans are so powerless and helpless that they need a ruler to have a meaning for themselves.
In short:
our existance = to worship and submit to God
God's existance = to be worshiped and govern us.
It's kind of a flipped scenario if you think about it.
