Im looking into buying a 2000 Jeep : Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4
with 98,000 miles on it, it has a brand new A/C and brakes, with tires at 80% tread life left, and i get a one year 10,000 mile warranty. The asking price is $5,995. So my question is HOW GOOD OF A DEAL IS THIS? Is this going to be reliable enough to drive well for another 20,000 miles? If you own this SUV let me know your experience. Thanks.

I own a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 and it has been great. I have not had any problems with it. The only thing that I have had issues with is a small leak in my A/C condensor which is nothing abnormal. I love this vehicle. The off road capabilites are wonderful with Jeep, which makes the best 4x4 in my opinion.

It may do for a while but it will cost you dearly when you start fixing things.The only Jeep that has ever been dependable is the Old Willis.The straight 6 cylinder motor they made in the 80's and part of the 90's is also a reliable motor.

the price for year and mileage sounds reasonable but have your own mechanic check it out before you sign anything or fork over any money. if truck has any defects now is the time to find them.
the 4.0 liter six in a well cared for and well maintained truck has been known to last well past 300k miles, i have several customers that can attest to this and the 318 and 360 chrysler v8's will also last a long time, but especialy keep these transmissions serviced

Thats a fair price and they last just have someone check out everything before you buy it. My friend had a 1999 limited and the transfer case started to have trouble.

decent espiceally if it has the 4.0 inline 6 cylinder but other than that it is awesome
