What purpose would the existence of a god serve, if one really existed? After all, if something as amazing as a god could just exist fully formed from nothing, without needing to be designed and created, then surely something infinitely more simple and mundane like a universe wouldn't need to be designed and created either - It could just exist, like god is supposed to do. So, why would a god need to exist at all? It would have nothing to do.

Well, a God with nothing to do is every bit as sensible and logical as a universe with no purpose or reason for existing... and in many ways, it is just as scientifically intriguing.

I think the real question is, why do people spend so much time trying to use physical tools of the natural world to prove, or disprove concepts that by defnintion cannot be quantified or qualifed in any physical natural way?

I mean come on! either take a position, or forget about it. Maybe we'll figure out the truth after we're dead, but until then we can't tell how it is with regards to "spiritual" things, and we just go by what we believe.

God is supposed to be the source of the cosmic manifestation.
He is the intellect beyond all. How can we say the creation was an accident. Why do we have consciousness how am I aware of the fact I am typing? There is a greater intelligence to the Universe. When people say the big bang created the Universe
where id the big bang come from? To get at me some might say Where did God come from? But he is the supreme intelligence.
The existance of existance the source of every single atom in the Universe the energy powering the Universe and the intelligence behind it.Many say that their religion is true and others are fake
their religion has more facts and another does not but its all nonsense. Every religion leads to the same path which is the yearning for a higher relization of their existance the purpouse of their existance. That is the goal of human society and to find
that out.Not to slaughter each other and shove all of our religious scriptures under each others nose and trying to prove each other wrong. For example one man says that christianity is the real religion because it is explaining gods existance in the world
with fact and when he was here and he says that Hinduism is
not and yet Hinduism has the Vedas to explain a humans duty in
life and the nature of existance.gods duty is to support the manifistation with his infinit energy and make sure society follows in faith and comes to true self relization. Why god
needs to exist? Basically because without him conciousness
would not exist. Nothing would exist. Even non existant things would not exist. Atoms would not exist. So there always has to be
a God. Such thinking is difficult for us simple human beings
but we can only try to understand the true nature of God to a certain extant. Some say aliens do not exist because man
was created in Gods liking. And yet how do we know that God is not powerfull enough to change his form? I have already mentioned he is capable of doing things that are unmeasurable
with our simple human intellect. He can look like anything at
any time. The aliens might see him as their liking and that is just how he will look like i n their form.He is beyond form and visual sight. To say that he created man in his liking is saying that he is not the all powerfull. God can make inreality turn into reality.
He created more then one Universe but an inumerable amount.
God desended to Earth as his son Jesus and yet was still
at heaven and the same person. How is that possible?
Its all to much for us to compute. When people say that another religion such as Hinduism is dumb just because they worship inumerable gods does not mean they do. They simply believe that all of those other Gods are mere servents and messengers of the one God,Vishnu,Allah,Jesus etc.In their opinion God has many forms and can be anywhere at any time. He is not to be compared with the human intellect. You may see God as a human and non believers see him as atoms and particles.
Its all the same.

Why does anything exist?

What purpose do you serve?

Who says God would have nothing to do? He has a whole universe to sustain and people to communicate with and save! I find it pretty interesting when people try to conceptualize God into their own image based on their own limited understanding of the world in which we live. You can see by simple observation that incredibly complex things dont just pop into existance from nothing. God being the least of those. But is that really where God came from? Does the Bible teach that or did you assume that? God must have origins but there are some things we just cant know or understand in this life. Maybe if you believe in him you will have a shot @ knowing in the end!

Love is not new. After all, what moved Jehovah to begin creating? It was not that he was lonely and needed companionship. Jehovah is complete and self-contained, lacking nothing that someone else might supply. But his love, an active quality, naturally moved him to want to share the joys of life with intelligent creatures who could appreciate such a gift. “The beginning of the creation by God” was his only-begotten Son. (Revelation 3:14) Then Jehovah used this Master Worker to bring all other things into existence, starting with the angels. (Job 38:4, 7; Colossians 1:16) Blessed with freedom, intelligence, and feelings, these mighty spirits had the opportunity to form loving attachments of their own—with one another and, above all, with Jehovah God. (2 Corinthians 3:17) Thus, they loved because they were loved first.

So it was with mankind as well. From the start, Adam and Eve were virtually bathed in love. Everywhere they looked in their Paradise home in Eden, they could see evidence of the Father’s love for them.

How painful that must have been for Jehovah! But did this rebellion embitter his loving heart? No! “His loving-kindness [or, “loyal love,” ] is to time indefinite.” (Psalm 136:1) Thus, he immediately purposed to make loving provisions to redeem any rightly disposed offspring of Adam and Eve. As we have seen, those provisions included the ransom sacrifice of his beloved Son, which cost the Father so dearly.—1 John 4:10.

The problem you are having is that you are spiritually blind to the things pertaining to God. You can't understand because your brain is so underdeveloped. When things so complicated as a universe seem simple & everyday to you, that is the genius of God. The truth is without a God you would not be. So instead of trying to convince yourself there is no God, try searching for the truth of why God puts up with you.

that's an age previous question that we'd or might under no circumstances be attentive to even after death we'd under no circumstances be attentive to. in accordance to technological understanding, and Athiests, He would not exist. in accordance to religious varieties and persons with faith, He does exist. in accordance to Agnostics, He might or would possibly not exist. yet now decrease back to the commencing up, if He does exist, possibly sometime he will instruct himself or enable Himself regularly occurring to the persons, or in the Afterlife, by way of fact the Doctrine states, in case you're solid then you definately would be allowed in Heaven while God lives. in spite of the reality that it is likewise available that there won't be an Afterlife yet He nevertheless does exist for us to under no circumstances be attentive to in any respect. Then there is likewise the perception that He would not in any respect exist nor does Heaven exist, that's the Athiest perception of what God is. For myself for my section, i don't think of i think in Heaven, as much as i might unquestionably desire to, there is only not something in my techniques which will enable me believe that Heaven exists and there are Angels with white robes and peace for each of something of your placed up existence in the worldwide time. in spite of the reality that, I do believe there's a God, not the God it rather is in photos with the white gown, long beard, halo, and each thing else, yet some style of better entity that we don't be attentive to approximately and might under no circumstances be attentive to approximately, yet i think there must be some thing obtainable it rather is greater efficient than the rest, some entity that in the time of actuality in all different words is...God.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?
