Why wait until you die? If you want to be thawed with a view to being resussitated at some point in the future then surely you need to be frozen before your body/mind fails completely as that would make the process so much harder, maybe even impossible.
Also you need to think hard about the terms of your regeneration. How long do you want to be around after? 10 years, 20 years, infinity? What's the point of bringing you back from frozen if you only get 3 months more?
Would you be refrozen, could you be refrozen - you're not supposed to refreeze.
Also, if you die before you are frozen, where will you soul be when you are thawed? Will it find your body again or will it already be reincarnated in another body. You might end up with someone else's soul altogether.
Are you sure you want to be frozen?
Have you really thought about the consequences?

I think its up to you but I wonder what will happen when/if the bodies are thawed out in the future.
Will scientists use the bodies to learn about the past?
How will the thawed people be able to survive in the future? They would have no money, housing or friends (unless they had been frozen too) and I doubt a futuristic society will be willing to support dead people that have been brought back to life.

i think that depends on what you believe if you believe that man has a soul and that the soul presides in the body then when you die you give up that soul and it goes back to the maker if that is the case then you will still be dead when they thaw you out in the future but if you don't believe that way then i say go for it all i can say is the success rate of thawing out a person and bring them back alive in the future is 0 percent good luck

It's called cryogenics and a lot of people have done it. I had a college prof who signed up to have his body frozen and maintained so he could be "re-awakened" in the future, I'll share his thinking with you; first, it's a very expensive thing to sign up for, but his take was; what do you care? The cost will come out of your estate and you will be dead. Your heirs won't get this money, but he felt he was leaving enough for them anyway. Also, you're taking a big chance that the way they freeze you now might not be the correct way once they get this figured out, but again, his point was; what do you care? If you luck out and they do it right, there is the possibility you could be brought back. If you choose any other kind of burial, there is no chance. So it does seem logical to go for it, but then again, I haven't signed up for this....yet.....

So... by the time they figure out what they can do with you once they thaw you out won't the freezing have done some irreperable damage to your internal organs? Think ice making cracks in rocks etc. Do you really think your brain is gonna survive that????
Either I become immortal and live awake forever... or I go when I'm meant to go and leave my soul move on.

With present technology it is unlikely for the thawing to be successful. If you want to go ahead anyway you will need a great deal of money

If my chicken dies and I freeze it, when I defrost it, it's still dead with exactly the same thing wrong with it that killed it in the first place. So, freeze yourself today while you're alive. But then what if something really good happened tomorrow but you missed it because you were frozen? Anyone who wants to freeze themselves should adopt an amusing position, freeze, and be kept in a glass case in a museum. Then the rest of us decide who we want to be defrosted.

great idea ,but can you trust your people to pay the bill for the electricity to keep you going ,what about a power cut
also if you get frozen after you are dead ,you will be dead when you are defrosted .
the idea is that you get frozen alive .to be defrosted alive
before you do it make sure you know what you are doing and understand the implication ,so far the people that are frozen are imensely wealthy.
these fridges for people are very, very expensive ,strictly for millionaires

Hmm that's interesting. I suppose it won't be a smart move, except I don't know if a person will be alive once their body is thawed.
