I just received a prescription for Retin-A from a spa that I went to help clear up my acne and they gave me other products to help even my skin tone and fade the dark spots. The clinician was highly impressed with my skin and mentioned that only the minimum was needed to clear up my problem. She was confidant that what she had given me was going to give me great results and that I would be happy with what I will achieve. Has anyone ever used Retin-A? Did you receive good results from using it? Do you have to continue using it after it clears up your skin? Was it worth using? I'm trying so hard to even my skin tone and get rid of these dark spots, I feel like going to the spa was my last resort.

It works well but there is a lot of peeling and it feels like a sunburn all the time.

I used to use it as a teenager...did wonders for my skin!
the only thing they say and is still true to this day is that you will become addicted to chapstick. I can't go even an hour without using chapstick or I feel like my lips are going to fall off. otherwise, the stuff worked on me!
Good luck!

It's ok. I personally like Pro-active better than anything else on the market. Also try Aveeno.

My skin was flawless when I used it, but it does make your skin thin....no waxing.
