I want to make green oatmeal for a project but I need the oatmeal to look really GREEN and the color won't slide off. Will kool-aid work or will I need to use food coloring? How much does food coloring cost and how much will I need for a bowl of oatmeal?

You need food coloring. Kool aid will turn it green, but it will make it taste different and AWFUL. Food coloring is generally sold in packs of 4 (blue, yellow, red, and green) and costs $3 at most. You will only need a few drops--just experiment!

kool aid is harmless ive dyed my dogs fur a lot with kool aid lol and the temporary color spray cans from wal mart are ok but they dont have good colors until halloween party city has many colors but its expensive but fast so you you wanna save money and take a while then use kool aid or save time instead of money and use the spray cans i dont know about food coloring but its really strong so i'd stay away from it

As long as you don't plan to eat it, Koolaid is probably fine.
But you may use the gel food coloring to stir into the oatmeal as well. Wilton brand is good, and available at Walmart in the cake decorating aisle.

Yes, kool-aid will work but I don't suggest eating your project afterward.

No, that will not work,, use the food coloring, it is tasteless, it cost about 2.69 for a single bottle, depends on where you live. A drop or two will be enough.

you can use either 1 but make sure when u do the koolaid dat u dont add no water and make sure you add it after the oatmeal is done
