First read CS Lewis, Mere Chrisianity, an atheist, a professor at Oxford who tried to do this intellectually. ANything else will be pretty superficial. Just being honest.

I just read Shelly on the Case for Atheism. On the issues he brought up, he was right. It was like saying that all Americans believe in slavery, because we allowed it. However, do not say that about me and the country I love, now. The arguement is polarized and self-justified.

People try to disprove the Bible but because it is the word of God, the mind of Christ, and the voice of the Holy spirit they cannot succeed.
Colossians 1:16 Jesus Christ is the creator For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible wether thrones or dominions or rulers ot authorities-all things have been created by Him and for Him.
1:17 And He -is before all things and in Him all things-hold together.
All things come into being by the word of His power.
John1. In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God ,in a moment of time eternal God became true humanity in one person forever.
Jesus said"you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free".
The word is spiritually discerned through the ministry of the holy spirit and an unbeliever cannot disprove it because they cannot understand it.
John 3:16 is the beginning of discernment.
Take care!

Just google it. But, I read godisimaginary. I was surprised that it is used as proof against creationism. It is so full of holes. Qouting verses out of context and out of time. Read example 1: the laws aren't followed anymore. If they reference it to the new testament, and what Jesus said, it would be plain why they aren't. The law is given to show you that you can not keep it. Only Jesus could.

So, If you want ammo to bash a christian, be well read in the bible as well. Remember context. Who is being talked to and when, why was the subject brought up, what does it address, etc...

There are tons of websites, just Google a verse or phrase. Sadly, they frequently take the verse out of it's context, or lack the Biblical viewpoint to understand it. This can be done with non-Biblical writings, quotes, etc. as well. So it cuts both ways.
