You have sufficient answers so far... The fact that the earth appeared could be left to conjecture but, what made it rotate at a certain speed (1,000 mph), travel through the universe at a specified rate of speed (10,000 mph). Seems there would be something or someone to make those calculations, as precise as they are. There is also a 10,000 year cycle which our globe goes through, on its traversing the universe, in relation to our own galaxy. We are close to entering that cycle as we are already seeing global changes. Not to discount how many historical archaeological finds continue to bring up that time line, over and over. The last one being only 10,000 years ago.

My question has always been which is the true god, or if there are many different gods. There are many many different religions in this world, I believe most of them claim to have the only true god(s)., and the beliefs are very different. Most of the followers believe in their own gods because they were told and taught since they were very young and there are no other choices. One very good example today is the radical Islamists who believe the entire world should follow their religion and their god is the only true god. However the methods these people use are terrorism and a lot of people are killed as a result. At the same time, if God really exists, why are there so many people suffering in this world? The proof you see everywhere that there is a God is only the good life you see in the rich western world. Look at Africa where a lot of people are starving or killed, and in Iraq where a lot of people are being bombed every day, you might feel God is missing there.

I know for an absolute certainty that God exists... but statements such as you make and as I have heard from countless numbers of other Bible thumpers did absolutly nothing to convince me... in fact for 40 yrs those very comments totaly had the opposit effect... and I can assure you that they still have exactly the opposit affect on those who read here on YA today and do not believe God is real... I can not prove God exists to any one... and neither can you... and I have never heard any of my Christian brothers or sisters give any convincing "proof" of God's existance.
it is only between God and the individual when that individual is ready to listen to God that they will accept The Proof for God... not from you or I...from God...... I just wish those phrases would be totaly removed from all of The Churches vocabularies.

Im only gonna say this once so listen up: It is the responsibility of the person making the claim to prove the claim. I cannot prove a negative - this is impossible. Can you prove to me that faeries do not exist? Of course not. This is why I cannot prove that God doesnt exist. You cannot prove a negative.
And saying "just look around you" is about the worst attempt at "Proof" that Ive seen....This is an argument appealing to Beauty, and it accomplishes nothing. The Church has been the biggest supporter of the arts....but what do you think we would have if Mozart was commissioned by the Church?? Certainly not the beautiful operas we have today....

Well, here is something to keep in mind when posting our comment here. You can't show a picture of fire and say that it proves that it exists and burns. They might be able to see it, but unless they experience it....they only see the picture you are showing them. There is enough scientific proof, twisted proof, outright lies, fervent beliefs, moderate beliefs, all kinds of thoughts on how the world came to be. I believe in Christ. But, I cannot argue it into someone else.

People can not believe in a God because you can't use your five senses to sense him. Can you touch him, smell him, taste him, SEE him (clearly), hear him, feel him?
We can do that to other humans or things, but since you can't do any of those to God himself, how can you prove he's really real? How do you know that he also created everything? Did you witness him doing it?
