Why do you condemn people for believing in evolution? Do you think that just because one has a different idea of how we came into being that the Love of Christ wont cover them? That God loves them less? Does God love us more because we have the "right" idea? Why not show them the love of Christ instead of bickering and bickering over things that ultimatly dont matter? People are lost and in pain and suffering and all i see are "christians" pointless bickerings. Help the hurt, feed the hungry, clothe the poor.

Well, we all go against God. What makes them different than us? Thats the beauty of Grace, even though we dont measure up, he makes us measure up! I think were taking this whole forum the wrong way

You guys may not know this but, when you guys say that that "it is a lie" youre judging the person. People are being mislead, thats all. thats why its up to us to stick together and tell them about the news.

Sorry, i didnt base it on scripture, it took me a while to find the right passage.

2 timothy 14-16
A Workman Approved by God
14Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.

God is the only One who can condemn people, but i see so many people with the holier than thou mindset that turns people off. Sorry again for not basing my question off of scripture sooner

2 timothy 3:16
16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Whats important first and foremost is ones salvation. You dont want to turn someone off by smacking them in the face and telling them that they are wrong. Once a Christian hopefully theyll have more faith in God and you can rebuke them with the word of God

AMEN!

I'm a Born-Again Christian, and this is my greatest disdain of Holier-Than-Thou-Christians, who daily tear Jesus off His Throne of Judgment, and dare to substitute themselves in His place, hitting non-Believers over the head with the Bible and condemning them to Hell. There will be a heavy price to pay for this atrocity, and for "driving people away" from Christ and the Truth. These False-Christians are an abomination onto Jesus and God the Father, and their ultimate fate will be, "Be gone from Me you evildoer, for I did not know you."

Wait a minute, are you making any distinction at all between Christians who condemn evolutionists (not the right thing to do) and Christians who condemn evolution as a false belief (which is a fair thing to do)? God loves each of us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, and belief/nonbelief in evolution does not affect that at all. Yet the truth is that one's belief in evolution DOES affect how one views Scriptures and DOES affect one's ability to deal with other Scriptural issues. Are you sure that the doctrine of Creation don't matter? If evolution is true, then creation is false, it is an either/or scenario. To say that Creation does not matter would be to undermine a foundational doctrine of Christianity.

I tell you the truth we condemn nobody, only God condemns.

The reason Christians have such a distaste for evolutionary theory is because it is actively teaching people that there is no God and pre-training their minds against God.

Oh God could have caused evolution? Good. Show me the public school that is allowed to even mention God in class? If they did, the ACLU lawyers would be down on them like white on rice. Part of the reason we dont like it is because it has helped turn our schools into atheistic training camps for kids. You may be ready to bow down and enshrine atheistic philosophy but many believers are NOT.

God may have so loved the world but the world doesnt love him back. If you read the NT again youll notice that only BELIEVERS are going to be saved and not unbelievers.

God shows more of his love to us because we respond in faith and are his children. Unbelievers have no such response and do not know the love of God.

So youre disallowing us to speak with atheists? On what grounds? What people did Jesus discourse with when he was on earth? Did he not get into arguments and show people reason through the Scriptures?

Im afraid you need to start basing more of your philosophy on Scripture and less on your personal feelings.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. -2 Corinthians 10:5

Why are you asking this? The Bible says that it is infallible and therefore without mistake or error. Therefore whatever it says is truth. The Bible says that God created the earth in six DAYS. It is not up for debate.
But I do agree to a point: we should not be spending our time bickering over origins. There are people who don't know that their sin is sending them to hell. They need to be told that Jesus died so they could avoid that fate. We should be spending our time telling them the folly of their ways and that there is hope and all they have to do is put on Christ to be saved.

I can see where you are coming from your right we should not be bickering and we should be clothing the poor ect. However we cant let people go around teaching a lie to children in school and everywhere else they need to know the truth not a stupid lie

I DO NOT condemn people for believing in evolution. Why do evolutionists condemn people who believe in creation?

Homo sapiens apparently did exist as well as other sub species of homo sapiens. The Genesis story pretty well parallels evolution theory. The time span does not, unless you consider that God’s “time” is not the same as we know it. His “days” should be considered as time periods (for lack of another description).

Creation (inteligent design) and evolution (natural selection) can exist beside each other. Consider this:

Did the car evolve (or could it have) from steel and rubber molecules? - Without inteligence??

That's a ;lot of questions all at once. But the answer to the first one re: evolution is... I don't condemn anyone for believing in a lie. That would be their choice. The problem for them is it opens them up to believing in more error.

no one should condemn people for their believes, they should be helped to gain an exact knowledge of the bible. Just as John 17:3 brings out.
