What is a fair bid for a ticket that cost $280.00 w/o a 2 week notice and $120 w/ a 7 day notice?

I am flying from Chicago to Phoenix on 11/01/2006, tickets are about $280.00 since I have not given a 7-14 day notice. The price of a ticket from Chicago to Phoenix with the notice is $120. What I'd like to know is what the the best bidding price for a ticket to Phoenix from Chicago would be.
