Hello. I am 16 years old and I have had pain and weakness in my legs for several months. It is very bad when I wake up, I can't really walk, and at the knees, I often feel them buckle. When I sit for more than 20 mins I feel a sharp pain in my right thigh. Also,my face starts to burn, sort of like a fever but I only really feel it on my face, if I am not always drinking ice. I am also constantly tired if that is related. Please help me. I don't really want to see any doctors if it's just a pulled muscle and have to pay all that money.

I have tried resting for a week and it didn't help. I have put ice and heat on the legs and it only helped for the time it was on.

You def need to go to the doctor. I had the same symptoms when I was 4. They tested me and found out I had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I went through alot of tests. They had to make special splints for my arms and legs. So you need to go asap!

You've frequently been making an attempt this already however persist... When he is trotting ask him to enter a canter in order that the primary stride he's taking leads off at the proper leg. So, in a trot, as he's simply stepping onto his flawed leg, get ready, then push him right into a canter. The subsequent stride must be serious about the proper leg. Keep up making an attempt like this and also you would see outcome. Some horses get within the addiction of doing matters a specified manner. If you could have ever attempted to quit smoking or biting your nails you'll be able to recognise simply how complicated historical conduct are to damage! Also, if he is most effective doing it on one aspect, he would have soreness in his leg or shoulder. I wish I've helped. Hope you will have many comfortable rides to return.

Honey-I can understand that spending the money is kinda harsh and it will be expensive but what is the price of your health? Now I am not a Doctor but I work with People with Disabilities and am a advocate and work with/family with MS and its kinda sounding serious. If it was a pulled muscle it would be localized to that area and there wouldn't be any fever like symptoms and definately not being able to walk is not a good thing. It could be serious like the onset of MS but it could also be a pinched nerve or sacroliliac both of which get serious to the point of permanent damage if not treated.
Would it not be better to treat whatever it is now and get rid of the symptoms which are clearly bothering you then hold back on the cash and find that you can never walk again or something?
Hang in the hun-it will be ok....

It's more than a pulled muscle. A pulled muscle would only hurt at the muscle. You really need to have a doctor check you out.
Don't you have insurance? Money is nothing compared to your health. If you have to, go to a county hospital for treatment.
Your parents or guardians need to know about how you are feeling.

The ice eating and tiredness indicates anemia. I am not sure about the other symptoms but really, really look at your diet---there is a lot of junk in foods that can cause neurological symptoms, i.e. aspartame, AKA NutraSweet.
For sure go to the Doctor.

first off a pulled muscle doesn't cause that much pain for that long unless it tore or worse which in any case you need to see the doctor. check out these links they might better help you.

if all you are saying is true-It may not be a muscle--especially the flushing of the face....you do have to see a doctor-and have some blood work--there are so many different things this could be--or it may turn out to be something minor---your body at your age is going through major changes......

Where are your parents in this?

Not seeing a doctor could be a really big mistake. This could be a minor problem now....but letting in go on could turn into something serious.

I think you need to talk to a doctor about this. Your symptoms are not normal for a person of your young age. See a doctor ASAP.

yes most definitely need to talk to a doctor.. it almost sounds dangerous and i believe 99.9% that it's not just a pulled muscle and totally worth the doctor visit.
