I assume you mean blunt as in, their personality?

If so, a person is "Blunt" when they say things that other people normally wouldn't say because it would offend them.

They tell it how it is, and are often "Blunt" in what they say to people, when most people would put a nicer spin on what's been said, so as not to be rude or hurt their feelings.

Hope this makes sense?

I am Blunt person, and sometimes I just can't help it. I dont mean to be rude--but I have ALWAYS been this way, even when I was a child..It's just that, we call things as we see it--without being phony. Now that I'm older, I do bite my tongue quite a bit because I dont want to be impulsive. But sometimes, people just need the plain honest truth. Like, this woman asked a question tonight about her aunt who is now pregnant by a drug addict who abandoned her--and I write her back and told her that her aunt was stupid for getting pregnant by a drug addict. Sorry, but thats the way I see it. Peace

Blunt can be a result of poor social skills OR it can be a result of someone learning life's valuable lesson that is is more honorable to speak the truth rather than saying what we know the listener wants to hear.

They are either unaware or uncareing for others feelings on a deep emmotional level... they are more concerned for themselves... there are many levels of this, so some are able to adjust when made aware... otheres will deny to the death that they are. but in reality they are the worst offenders.
