This is kind of a long story, and not quite a distinct premonition, but I'll tell it anyway. I'm extremely empathic, and highly sensative, most of the time, but even for me this was an odd occurance.
I had gone to the mall with my friend Now, my friend gets panic attacks, and because of that I do not leave her alone when I'm out with her, as that can trigger stress and an attack.
We usually eat lunch and go to a software store. From the moment we walked in, and especially right in front of the software store, I got a strong feeling that there was "Something Wrong".
After lunch , I was waiting for her to be done in the store. Usually I'm very patient and laid back about this, but this day I simply could not keep still in the store. A huge sense of dread kept coming over me in waves, and got worse whenever I stood or walked by the checkout desk at the store. Finally, I couldn't take it any more and bolted mindlessly out of the place, without regard to my friend.
My friend had to hunt me down, I was literally just mindlessly and frantically walking randomly through the mall, and we walked around together to calm me down. I kept telling her about this sense of "Something Wrong" in that store. Now, this was a huge mall, and we had to go back past that store to get to where our car was parked.
As we walked past the store again, there was a group of paramedics gathered around the very same area I'd had my strongest sense of dread. They were standing over, and tending to a man, who was laying on the floor. As we walked to the car my friend said that she thought he must be dead, from the way that everyone was acting around him. And, for no reason that I can explain, I simply said, "No, he's not dead, but he is unconscious".
The next time we went back to that store, the sense of "Wrongness" was gone, and the clerk confirmed to us that the man had not died, but had gone into a diabetic coma, and was unconscious when the paramedics came.
Looks like I was bang on, even if it was so close to the event, and so unspecific a "feeling" as to not, necessarily, count as a premonition.
I had never had that sense before, and have not had it since, in that store.

How did I know you were going to ask this? ok, honestly, I didn't...
But I've daydreamed, I've dreampt, and sometimes it's just a dejavu.. But there have been many occasions when the situation I was in then, had a direct relation to a past memory, or what my mind percieved as a past memory.
I've stood in an empty room and heard my name from an impossible location. I've sat inside, and watched a single feather fall from outside, into where I was, and lay right on my open palm (which was NOT outreached..!) Can I say I'm fortunate? That things happen for a reason? or that my premonitions are any more important tha anyone elses?
All I can say is this:
I'm 32 male and many times I've been in a presence that gave me the abilites i never felt I own myself.. Premonitions exist, but understanding them is very tricky..

I don't call what you're asking about here is a premonition. Honestly, what I call you asking about here is a vision. Answering, yes, I have experienced God showing me a vision prior to it becoming a reality. My first vision was very scary.
An online friend had asked me to write a poem as if it were from a father to a baby son, so I'd had to pray God give me the words. After praying for a week, while I sat in my front of a computer, I'd had a vision of this baby being lifted up as if to be carried in the sky above to God, and I saw the mother and father near the hospital bed, looking over their baby son. As this vision was seen by me, my heart became full of words to put in this poem I'd been asked to write. I wrote and e-mailed the poem, and not even two hours passed before the father e-mailed me thanking me for such a poem, and to apologize for having to keep the e-mail short, but he and his wife had lost the baby and had to go shopping for clothes for the baby to wear. My online friend commented that he wanted to asked if the poem could be in their newspaper with the obituary, and of course, I told them the poem was theirs. I was just glad God could and did use me.

This may make me sound crazy but I am a true believer in dreams and visions and believe hat God will speak through these doors.
I have had many dreams since I was young that has come to pass. When I was 16 I dreamed that all of europe was going to unite and become one and a man was to rise from that and rule. I have had dreams about Israel and it has come to pass. I have visions all the time when i pray. The Word of God says He that has a ear let him hear what the spirit is saying. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice. I think your question is good and you have the ability to listen.Use that when you pray....God bless.

I had a dream that my friend was pregnant and has a miscarriage. One week later she told me she had been pregnant and miscarried 2 weeks before, and had only told her husband about it. It wasn't a premonition though, since my dream occured a few days after she miscarried, but still it was strange.

Yes about ten years ago when my father was very ill with Mesothelioma (Asbestos related lung cancer), I went to bed one Sunday night and had a dreaded fear that I would never see him alive again. I was so upset and shaking at the thought of this. Next morning I received a phone call from my brother, saying that Dad had passed away in the early hours of the morning (Monday).

Yes! I have had this to happen many times. Some of these premonitions have guided me away from trouble and even possible death.

Yes, when I was young I had many of which I thought it was common place. I soon learned people fear the unknown. I've advanced since then, gaining knowledge and wisdom. I use it now days to give light to all who share my space in this world. It's a good thing, don't fear it, Learn how you can use it, either for yourself or for the world, either way it will lead you to the truth.

I once dreamed that my friends and i all lived in one village and then a flood came and took away all our earthly belongings. In my dream I saw how our furniture and cars etc. drifted away in the water. About two weeks later it all started, in our friendship circle alone, lightening had struck - 3 houses were hit, they lost all their powered equipment, there was 5 motor vehicle accidents in one weekend, all cars written off including mine, hail had hit 2 houses and a few cars, one car written off, all windows out. All this happened in 7 days. Only afterwards I remembered my dream.
Yesterday I wondered whether Reese Whitherspoon and her husband will ever split, thinking they look so happy. Today I got the sad news...
I wish it will go away, it freaks me out.
