Hi,
There can be a few first signs ranging from a retracted nipple to a pebble-like immobile lump, to an indentation of the skin, etc.
There is greater risk of developing breast cancer if you're over the age of 40, Caucasians, family history of breast cancer ( mother or sister had it ), never gave birth or had a child late in life ( after 30 ), if you had previous cancer in one breast, early age of first menstruation, late menopause, high animal fat in your diet, etc. Although very rare even men can get CA of the breast !
Every woman on Earth should know how to do a self examination yet most tell me that they don't because they are a afraid they might find something. I find this to be unacceptable because the exam you can perform on yourself w/o the aid of a medical professional and that if caught early enough your chances of survival increases greatly !
All you have to do is know if you're at greater risk than the general female population, how to do a correct self examination and what to look for !
Note : If you're at greater risk you have to start getting Mamographies earlier.
Ciao

By self examination finding a lump, which is not always cancerous just a cyst. Mammograms often miss small lumps that have been detected by self examination. Inverted leaking nipples can be a warning sign. I f you notice or detect anything unusual see your doctor. Better safe than sorry!

first you need to get a mammogram and if you have any small lumps...you need to go to the doctor's asap..so they can do a biopsy to check if you have any cancerous cells....after they do the biopsy they will be able to better tell you...if it is cancerous or benign.... Good luck and always go to the doctor's for your yearly check up's.

Please contact the Cancer society or check out webmd.com
Go to a doctor, if you are having a question, you must have a good reason.
This is not the place for 'good professional advice'.
Please get some soon it is VERY IMPORTANT the sooner the better.
