For one thing, caffeine is a stimulant, and stimulants are considered drugs. Not only does it elevate the blood pressure (which is not good), it also can cause muscle tremors, anxiety, restlessness and irritability. It causes your body to react in a way that it would under stress, and we all know how bad stress is. Besides, caffeine interferes with the breakdown of some drugs, making them less effective or even altering their function.

It increases your heart rate which can be bad for some people with cardiac problems. It's also one of the only things that can pass through the blood brain barrier (alcohol also can), so if you think about it, you're pouring caffiene into your brain. Doesn't sound so good to me (But I still drink coffee)

It helps you stay awake falsely, and you become addicted to it. My mum gets migraines if she doesn't have her coffee regularly, anything that does this can not be good for you.
