Many years ago we used to sing this song in our Girl Scout meetings. I was told that it means "come by here", but I don't know what language it is in.

do you mean kumbaya? from the song that starts "Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya"?

it means "come by here". we learned it in Sunday School and Girls Scouts. I'll bet the whole song is listed on the GS website, or try wikipedia
