Eat popcorn, Jaw Breakers, Taffy any type of food before getting your braces, because once you have them on, you won't be able to eat them for a long while...

When you get your braces and each time you get them tightened on a regualr basis, you'll have to stock up on soft foods to eat.

I'm getting mine on the 8th, From what I've been told is you'll be sore for a few days on up to a week. Soft foods during this time and adjustments. Lips will most likely be sore.

a little pain as your mouth and lips get used to the wire and the tighting affect of the braces. also ask the doctor for wax to coat the outside of the brackets so that at first your mouth and lips would get scratched

Okayy well make sure you take an advil or something before you go to get them on. ANd before you go to bed @ night. It doesn't hurt when they are putting them on- but you will feel pain for a couple days after the fact. Then you kinda just get used to it- and don't even realize you have them after a while.

a little pain ,and soarness .but eventually youll get used to that ...there is also a lot of dedication u must put into them ..like flossing brushing and rinsing with florid every night morning and after each meal ..you must also keep up with ur elastic

felling like you have a really big mouth and having a bit of a lisp for a while and sometimes it hurts alittle at first i know mine did
