Because we have a responsibility to leave this planet in as good a shape as when we arrived, it's for our children's and grand-children's benefit.

Should we change our actions if we realise that what we're doing is wrong, or damaging someone else? I think so, if only to distance ourselves from the people who deliberately do damage to make a few dollars more profit for their shoddy products.
If you were told at work to pour an oild drum full of toxic waste into a ditch and keep your mouth shut, would you do it?

Does it mean the whole world is going to be full of greenfly?
Because that's what I've got in my greenhouse.
