Generally 2 weeks healing time provided they are kept clean and you follow aftercare instructions properly.
If there is an infection then it will take longer to heal.
Some people are fast healers and some are slow healers. ( example: ) Diabetic people sometimes take longer to heal due to the disease and medications. I have had tattoos that healed in a week and others that have taken a little longer to heal, about 3 weeks. ( no infection, just bigger tattoo ). Tattoos take about 3 months to completley heal, although the open wound is closed and healed the skin takes time to heal, this is why it seems to itch for a while after its "healed".
keep it out of sunlight and the colors will stay true. remember to use a good, strong sunscreen when you do go out.

I have actually heard that you do not use neosporin on fresh tattoos because it causes the skin to heal faster than it should, or something to that effect. I've found that if you keep it moisturized for the first couple days, but not covered, it seems to heal a little more quickly. But generally a week or two. And it's generally pretty sore immediately afterwards. But if you're getting a large tattoo, nothing beats the post-tattoo nap.

It was for two days after that mine was a raised bump, then I started shedding like mad for like four days. >.< but I had been putting lotion on it around three times a day, and I heal pretty quickly.
No more than a week and a half depending on what size you get.
mine was a medium sized

Depending on treatment you give it (or lack thereof), and the amount of sunlight and water it receives - about 2 weeks to a month or even 2.
