If a mosquito sucks on a HIV infected person and then bites a healthy one, will it transmit the virus into the other person?

And, does the virus affect the mosquito itself?

There is no evidence that HIV can be transmitted via mosquitos. And yeah, malaria does suck.

HIV virus is not transmitted by mosquitos. If it was, half the world would be already dead.

And lets not forget West Nile as well. I think that AIDS would be much more prevalent if it were transmitted by mosquitos. As would Hep C.

Don't worry. The most you'll ever get from a mosquito is malaria. That's bad enough.
