DOES TAP WATER CAUSE DISEASES? I AM THINKING ABOUT NOT DRINKING WATER ANYMORE- I'M SCARED
WITH ALL THE ADDED CHEMICALS BEING PUT IN IT.

No, it is safe. Yes it contains chemicals but at safe levels. You need to drink water, dont give up drinking it.

Tap water potability depends on where you live. I drink it all the time, because our water tastes great and its always safe. Sometimes tap water tastes horrible but its still safe to drink. Yet I've had the experience of drinking great tasting water just from the ice cubes that made me sick - Juarez or someplace like that. But don't stop drinking water -you can get filters, or you can boil it for 20 minutes, or buy it bottled.

It depends on what's in the water. Your best bet is to take a sample of your tap water to the local extension agent for testing.

My tap water is all right, but I have smelled some I wouldn't touch on a bet.

tapwater doesnt cause diseases. The fluoride is there to help teeth but just like anything else too much of any water and it wouldnt be good for you. Worry is much worse for you than tap water.
