Also, has anyone used either of these? If so, How did you enjoy it? and how far along were you before you could hear the hearbeat? thanks

Yah know, I got the regular BeBe Sounds and I have to say I only heard her heartbeat once. The darned thing is so sensitive that it picks up every other tiny little noise in your environment! The baby has to be positioned "just so" in order to hear the heartbeat. I was in my third trimester when I bought it. If I had to do it over again I would have saved my money or rented one of those high tech machines instead. Anyone out there know the name of the rented thingy-ma-bobbers? I can't remember what they were called but they were apx $25 a month!

I have to agree with the previous answer. I have one but I purchased it at a consignment shop so I got it cheaper. But I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and still haven't been able to hear my baby's heartbeat with it. As for the difference with the deluxe version you can record the sounds and email them or play them to your baby after it is born. With the regular one you can only listen not record.
